End of the day you still have to avoid playing certain shots and bowling certain balls in C2005 if you want a good game, much the same as BLIC, I feel BLIC has been harsly chastised due to the fact everyone expected so much from it.
I can't argue with the fact that if you want a single player cricket game that at least comes somewhere near simulating the challenge of cricket then Cricket 2005 is the only option, but if your playing a mate, all the annoying AI bugs of BLIC dissapear, and it becomes an excellent game, the same can not be said about C2k5
