I got DB14 on xbox when it first came out (thanks to the kids) and played the heck out of it until my 3 y/o lost the disc. Back then, it hadn't been patched yet (other than the release day patch).
Now I finally picked up the PC version and...OMG....the game is so much better than what I remember. A lot of the gripes have been sorted and the game is so good to play now. Big props to the devs.
Two things still bug me from then and I don't know if they will ever be addressed ie.
1. enforcing bowlers to NOT switch to around the wicket straight away. Most bowlers bowl from over the wicket and only switch when nothing is happening or for some other tactical reason. Its more annoying than anything else.
2. the 'walk across stumps' animation...ie. if you try to leg glance a ball ie. LS = Up, RS = Left, the batsman will walk across is stumps and away from the ball. I've been bowled many a time like this. The batsman should really stay put.
I'm also assuming that we're not going to be able to change the line up during career mode. Thats a shame if it can't be implemented.
