I posted this on my forum and I'll post it here too.

Here are solutions to the most common problem:

I get this error when i try opening it:
System error &H8007007E (-2147024770)

? Download Registry Clean Expert from http://www.registry-clean.net/ OR ANY OTHER REGISTRY CLEANER
? Install it and run it, and fix whatever problems there are
? Download COMDLG32.OCX from http://www.planetcricket.org/module...iewdownloaddetails&lid=47&ttitle=COMDLG32.OCX Unzip the file into your Windows system32 Folder
? Click the Start Button --> Then Run
? Then type "regsvr32.exe comdlg32.ocx" without the "
? After all that it should work

I have installed the cricket 2004 on D drive instead of C,as a result when I try to run Kit editor,it sends the run time error 76 (path not found). How can I work it make it work so it reads my game and gob file from D direction. Thanks in advance.

Open up the file Gob Directory.txt and change the path to point to where your .gob file is:
e.g. C:\program files/EA Sports/Cricket 2004/data/cricket_pc.gob becomes
D:\program files/EA Sports/Cricket 2004/data/cricket_pc.gob

I can't see the buttons to change my resolution and kit part on the right hand side of the screen

You need to make your computer run in 1024*768 or higher or you won't be able to use the Kit Replacer properly. To do this right click on the desktop and select properties. Then choose the tab: settings and increase the resolution.

Cheers

Well like kits i think you have to format the face files correctly. Have you downloaded them, or have you created them yourself?

In the game, when u go to Team Management u can only choose from 24 faces, whereas in the Kit Replacer you can put different faces from face1a-face3g, which equates to 25 faces!!!!
I think its face1a, which u can't get in the game!!!

Any idea why this is the case????

maybe u should count and then answer back.....
face1a- face1k gives 11 faces, face2a-face2g gives 7 and face3a-face3g gives another 7 faces........and if Maths is correct that is 11+7+7 = 25 faces!!!!

There are definitely 25 faces available using the replacer. If the ingame editor only lets you select 24, use the Prakash's player editor to add the 25th.
4a-4f are umpire faces 128*128
5a-5f are facial hair etc 128*128
