I gave rFactor a blast earlier and I was awful. Couldn't stay on the track for more than 30 seconds around Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

What settings you using? If you've got a Logitech wheel, you need to change one of the settings in to minus figures (it's on a slider, can't remember it's name).

It's a good game, but you will need to customise it for your wheel. If you are trying to pad it, get a wheel.

I have a wheel, think it is Logitech. Seems to be working fine I just can't control it. I tried using the keyboard again afterwards. Was better but I still sucked.

Mine isn't so fancy but it is a Logitech. Going to need a lot of practice before I will be vaguely competitive/able to keep it on the track for a whole race.

The value of -60 isn't strict though, just play with it until you find something that suits you. As long as it's a negative value of course. You could always just pop into the SROL server, and someone can help you from there.

Nah not even that fancy. Wasn't much money at all, only ?20 or ?30. I don't think it's that that is the problem, it's just me being awful

Hmm, even if you do suck () if it's not a Logitech wheel and you're running it with -ve settings it'll behave oddly and similarly if it is one and it's on +ve settings.

Just something to make sure of

Otherwise it's all practise and switching from a keyboard to a wheel is surprsingly difficult, but with a few hours you'll be used to it.

It is definitely a Logitech wheel. It has it's logo on it in at least two places! Not sure about the settings, I just know I wasn't very good.

I may try and get a few hours of practice this weekend if possible. Half term coming up which will hopefully mean I can turn into a respectable racer.

There's a couple of practice servers up so feel free to hop into them. Not sure how much I'm going to be around during the day (Saturday or Sunday) due to other commitments, but I'll be around during the evening.

Ordered Forza Motorsport 3, im not a driving fan but thought it looked good. Will i be disapointed?
