getting out

Is it possible to get out by cutting the ball back onto your stumps? Havent seen it happen yet. Normally i may get an outside edge and the batman is caught behind in the slips but he never cuts the ball back onto his stumps (inside edge)? can this happen?

I can't recall having a batsman out inside edgeing a cut shot but I have had batsmen bowled off the inside edge driving at mostly fast bowlers!!

I have had it happen with some patches. It may have been Ravi's or Boss's.

it happens with tutsi patch if u time it early to spinners mainly

With Sams 1.2 beta .exe, there is a bug where a straight drive goes through the bat(although it seems like an inside edge the way it rebounds in the air). Usually occurs on hard pitches. Ok when bowling, but bloody annoying when you bat!

The thing is I am playing on PS2 so no patches available as far as I know. Nevermind, lets hope this is something they put in the next version.

Just as we were discussing it...I got an inside edge onto the stumps last night. I was bowling with fast bowler and the cpu clipped the ball onto the stumps. This was with Boss's v5 patch.
