Well i have been using Gold's test patch version 2 recently. Anyways i decided to edit a couple of settings in the config editor and i found that using the autoplay caused the opposition team to make good totals. Perfect for me as bowling just gets to boring in cricket 2004.

Try copying these settings into the config editor for test hard and see what u think.

CpuDifficulty* 1.659973
CpuReward* 12.0
BatWindowIdealSize 3.0

** I was using Golds patch settings, i only changed the ones above with stars by their names. I tested this on a hard pitch against western australia a, i was england. It was a hard pitch and sunny, they made 350 and batted untill lunch on day 2. I gave them about 100 runs with my bowling before i auto played so cpu difficulty may need to go up abit. I then tested the above settings on a green pitch in england again sunny. Surrey Vs Yorks, i was surrey i auto played yorks innings and they made 250 on a green pitch which i didnt think was to bad an effort.

Just an idea if people cant be arsed to bowl but still want the cpu to set good totals to chase down.

thats good man, how bout if we edit it for the ODI, so then some teams could get 300+?? is that possible?

Yea its bound to be, im having some tea soon but ill play about with it later tonight if no one else has figured it out by then.

oh rite, hope you can do it man, :).. if they do manage to get 300+, can you release the new setting which will take effect for higher scores.

E=MC have you tried my odi patch? Because in it the cpu always make huge totals.Give it a try.

Gas-Do you find the cpu to be too aggressive in tests?I find that in my test patch. If you feel it is too much, just reduce the CPUReward setting until you find a good value.

And yeah even I noticed the cpu play well on autoplay in my patch.I once got a draw when I autoplayed the whole match!

Hey Gold, you wouldn't know where i can get zimrali's stoke tutorial from would you?

There is a thread somewhere in the c2k4 forum called "config to make cpu more aggressive" by mikehextall. In that, you will find a document which contains the stroke editor tutorial + some other useful cfg tips. The info there is written by Ravi and Zim.I just compiled it all into 1 document.Download that.

Thanks Gold, any chance you could hook me up with a link or a file because i've seached this forum for that thread and that username and I can't find anything.
