Hi guys,

Has anybody managed to play the Great Indian Team game by Yaju Arya. Even after installing Visual Basic 6 Run time files I still have problems. It says cannot find a file called 'KSIBTTN.OCX'. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I would be most grateful if someone could up with a solution to this problem.

Thanx :(

please get hold of the latest vb6 runtimes at http://www.downloads.com.Your version of the files may be corrupted.Put ALL the vb files in windows/system directory and say 'yes' whenever it asks you to overwrite.
Then re-install the game and your problem should be solved

Cheers.

Thanks for your advice Ritwik. I downloaded the latest VB6 Service Pack 5 Runtime files of download.com and installed them. The file which is downloaded is an MS Cabinet file. I cannot extract the files manually to the C:WindowsSystem folder. It doesn't seem to overwrite any existing files. Unfortunately when I load Great Indian Team I get the same Runtime 339 error which requests the file 'KSIBTTN.OCX'. Thanks for your time. I appreciate it.

Hi ritwik and ArjunaH,

I don't think that will work. I have tried the same thing but without any real result. I manage to get the same error again and again even after installing the latest updates.

I am unable to play the game for this reason only and then I never managed a download for Great Indian Team 2.

Let's ask Yaju if he could solve the problem. :P

Hi Quickfire

I think you are right. I have searched for the .ocx file everywhere and requested on several sites with no success at all. This problem has been posted on the forum on Yaju's website. Hope he can come up with a solution.

Cheers

The Great Indian Team is a very poor game. You won't like it.

Put ksibttn.ocx in your Windows>System folder. Try this.

But you still tried to make a game Yaju...i am sure version 2 will be great.;)
Something is always better than nothing.

Cheers.

Hi Yaju

Sorry if I'm bothering you about this problem. Its fine. It must be annoying having to sort out problems with a game you've already developed. Don't worry about it. Hope you still make Great Indian Team 2. Should be good.

Cheers

It is not good.

In fact TGIT2 is a "game".

It is TGIT1 with some bells and whistles.

I tried but failed. You will hate it. There is nothing in it.

Yaju, you seem almost anxious for him not to play the game...let him just try it out for himself. :)

No it's not that. Just wait. :sneaky:  .
