I don't know why, but I'm getting a bad feeling about our opening match with Afghans =|

If we lose to Afghanistan, we are dead. Would be a huge huge upset and it has good chances of happening in a T20 match. Thats why this kind of group scheduling is bad for Twenty20 format.

What wrong with the scheduling? Two strong teams and a weak one.

Not that. The format where one upset could potentially disqualify you for the Super Eights is bad, since this is a T20 format where upsets are even more possible of happening. A team on its day can beat anyone, and there is a good chance Afghan might surprise India or SA.

I'm all up for upsets :D

If a strong team loses to a weak team, they only have themselves to blame.

Quite an unlucky draw for Afghanistan. Having done so well in cricket lately they have to face two giants in the form of India and South Africa. Bad Luck.

Well thats why the strong teams should avoid big upsets. All the more reason to play better cricket and not take any of the weaker teams lightly.

Dare added 0 Minutes and 58 Seconds later...

Like TumTum said I don't mind a good upset.

As long as its not against the WI. :p

I too have a feeling India will lose to Afghanistan as they did last time in WC 2007 against Bangladesh in the same Caribbean...

:laugh:laugh

and you call yourself a indian cricket team fan!! Do not have even 1% faith??

It's Afghanistan and not Bangladesh!!

Bangladesh are much more capable side to create upset but Afghanistan??

You should be ashamed guys to think even!!

It's not about faith, it's about game's outcome. It can be anyone's day in T20. Who expected Netherland to win England last time? :p

What I feel is, India's batting line up should be too much for Afghans. Zaheer - Vinay - Praveen - Harbhajan - Yusuf should be doing good in bowling department is what I hope/believe. No Nehra, please!

Well said Suren Bhai!!

This is what people should write!! But instead people have shown no belief

Feel for the Afghans, have got a huge task in front of them, but they might make one of the two games pretty close...
