1: Download EVERYTHING
2: Do a fresh Install of the game.
3: Open part 1 of the WCEXP and run the setup program
4: Install WCEXP fix 1
5: Install the hardcore gameplay patch (if required)
6: Install WCEXP fix 2

There ya go.

If you can't follow that you should give up.

And by the way make sure you run the game using the WCEXP manager. You should get an icon on your desktop

Hurray I got it i am so happy thanx nixon YOU R THE BEST.the patch is so so so so goooood i swear man i bowled a bowl and straith away it went into the slip.YOoooo HOooooo the only mistake i made was i was trying from the exe icon not the wc manager

Also make sure you run the game using the new exes and not the Ravi's bat/bowling one or the old WC2003 exes

to start off i must say Greatttt job Vineet!!...i have a few suggestions..here they are... u could do something about restricting the bowler to 1 bouncer per over like in real life... then the fielder behind the keeper wont be necessary, cause that kind of removes the reality bit from the game.. :blink: my menu during the end of each over goes zonked... i cant seem to change my bowler!! help...im stuck wid bowling wid Dravid n Kaif as my 1st change ... lol......im also facing a problem wid the configs..ive got all the config files u released on ur site... and they are in my config folder... is it supposed to be left that way or do i have to rename the files to one specific file during game play....thnx....n keep up the good work.......... :

My menu was corrupted too, just changed video card drivers and problem fixed.
I find the game skill level to be great now. It is a real battle to make runs against the better teams .
You have to pick you shots more carefully and its seems to add more tension to the game. I seem to be taking more notice of the run-rate these days.

excuse me, have a problem. I am not able to download the hardcore gameplay patch from the site page. Is the download file down to problems or is there a mistake with me. I get a file difficultpatch1.rar and when I try to unrar it, the file does not work. Is it a problem with my PC or with the file. It is 10.3Kb and when I try to unzip it with "Winace", the rar file does not open. instead, it goes back to the Winace main window. Plz anyone help me?!!! :o

Use Win Rar 3 to unrar the files.

Can ne one send only the exe contained in the EA official patch to me at[email protected]? I downloaded it 3 times, still it doesn't seem 2 work. I have a great idea, when u send me the exe i'll tell ye all about it!! B) B) :unsure:

Hello, Vineet. I just want to say something about the patch, I`m a very good Cricket2002-gamer, so I play at Extreme level. But I can easily manage 100/0 in about 10 overs!!!!!!! You said that the extreme level was for sadists, but I think it`s is easy as happy thoughts, man!!!!!

So can anyone make the game a bit harder, both batting and bowlign, because I also got Australia out for 87!!!!!!!!!! :

Well, either you're very very good. Or you're not playing with the game skill level at Normal. The Hardcore patch only works then.

I know that, I do play at normal level....I`ll just have to for some new cfg. files..

I also think it is still too easy, even in extreme mode. The ball is too easy to time, so you can always make a big score, and the computer can't handle a seaming/swinging bowl.

But when playing two player the game is alot more fun with the patch, as you do get more edges.

Its just a matter of personal preference really.

Change the values to suit your skill level. If you strengthen cpu batting values and change values for human batting you wont hit the shot cleanly unless you time absollutelly perfectly. I tried that while testing but since I'm like most others a good but not an exceptional C2k2gamer I chose levels that the vast majority of people would find challenging enough but not impossible.

That said I'll add a new cfg later on if I get time that is much harder and for gamers like you. Or you could experiment with the values yourself and find a comfortable level.
