Um no, that is exactly how I thought you said it and that is still pitiful. If you are actually looping the ball and you are bowling pace that is appalling.

Indians can't play short balls, even if they are coming at 30 mph :laugh

I messed that ball up and thats why it is looping up. i bowl in lower 80s

I don't often get into a bowling zone, seeing as I'm more of a swing bowler who hits the spot but when I do I can usually bowl pretty damn quick and swing it both ways, and I'd consider myself in good touch. Doesn't happen often in games though.

Batting wise usually after I pass 10 I don't get out unless I'm on the attack. That's when the ball starts getting bigger, my bat feels lighter and there are gaps in the field everywhere. So usually when I'm hitting my drives and pulls perfectly I'm in the zone.

Yeah, the first 100 I ever scored I felt as though I was in the zone. Came in at five with us needing 180 and scratched around for the first 15-20 runs. We lost a few more wickets in between that time and when we slumped to 65-8 I decided to shield the strike and see I much I could make before we lost. Before I knew it I was on 50 and what only felt like a few minutes I was being congratulated for making my first 100 for the XI.

Ended up 105* and winning by one wicket, we had a 10th wicket partnership of 98 and the number 10 scored 4 of 13 balls haha, never have I felt that good at the crease.

i was in the zone once this season; i came in at 4 when our team needed 80 to win of 65 balls or so. I middled everything from the get go. At first i took singles and doubles but that didn't turn out to be enough, as we needed 40 of 29 balls. at that point i started hitting fours as much as i could, and thats when i tried the "dilscoop" it actually worked , as soon as i hit it i thought the ball had gone to the keeper but i turned back and saw his face when the ball sailed over his head and almost went for six :laugh.

i ended up getting out last ball of the innings needing 6 of 1, with a score of 49 of 40 balls. I made 64 and 58* but for those innings i never felt in the zone.

yup. like Mccullum's scoops on Tait's balls:p
