Hayden sacked from ODI squads

Good riddance.

He has played his last International game in Australia for sure.

Hopefully he takes cue from this and announces his retirement.

Perhaps, he feel he can reverse this in South Africa, a very tough chance considering the form Steyn, Morkel and Makhaya are in.

And I cannot see Hayden averaging more than 40 if at all he makes it, in the Ashes.

So, better leave when the applause is strong.

I just dont understand why every ones come down on him so quickly.
Plus the selectors excuse is stupid.
Gilchrist wasnt going to play in the World Cup either but they didnt drop him.
They Replace Hayden with Hopes. Hayden could still score more runs then Hopes with 1 hand tied behind his back.

I loved his interview just prior after being axed from the ODI squad.

"I've basically dominated ODI and Twenty20 for a long period of time" - You've dominated Test cricket aswell mate!

Don't get me wrong, he wasn't arrogant in the interview. He was actually happy that a valid reason was explained to him.

Absolute champion, on and off the field.

Steyn's in form, not sure about the other two

Ntini always bowls very well on SA wickets. He averages 22 at home compared to 37 away from SA.

Morkel has bowled better as the tour has gone on. He is still learning his trade but will be a threat on SA wickets.

Hayden will be taking a big risk to his 50 average if he wants to regain his form on the seaming SA tracks. They do a lot more than the aussie tracks.

I really believe Haydos will come back. He's taking a holiday, and i think thats just what he needs to rejuvinate after a tough and long few series.
