Everytime I try to download a file this error pops-up

Error -2048: the file is not a movie file

the file is crosslinked as the movie player file, shift + right click on the file and then try OPEN WITH command and then find the compatible application for it.

Have you actually got the patch onto your hard drive?
Also what are you downloading?

Should I re-install the game and download again?

I'm trying to download the face-packs but I've had the error pop-up before

I dont think the game has to do anything with that. Are you using any software to download like download accelerator?

Ok, so what happens? Does the download complete and then you try and open the file?

No you know on the download page there is the extras box? Well I click on download file which is what I assume is what you do and the error shows up

It has nothing to do with the game something with your internet.

Which browser are you using?
Are you using the broswers download manager?
And does it only happen with planetcricket downloads or for all the things you download?

just planetcricket downloads I think, what do you mean by what browser am I using? Im not good with this LoL

try downloading a file from a thread. and see if it works.
I mean if you want to download indian face pack go to saurabh's thread and download from there.
