Story Hero's XI Return - Cricket 07!

Ok were starting tommorow and I have changed some of you into bowlers because there was what only Kev,Plym and I think Madmick who were bowlers so now the team is more balanced.

We are replacing Scotland County and thats all for now it will be good trust me :gundown

Fixtures And Touring Leagues Announced!

Finally the season is about to begin and it has been pretty interesting what the ICC have thought of it all, there will be 4 Leagues from bottom to top in this order:

ICC International League
English County
State Championship
Minor League

Now Any team can get into the International League where the major teams compete in a Test and ODI league running through the season (But im not going to bother with other team promotions so stuff you) Now the Heros XI will start in the Minor League where there is tough competition there fixtures wont be released because I cant be bothered to think of one but it will be from Australia A onwrds so 5-Day test against them the a ODI and it will be repeated twice through out the season the points are like football so now we shall let the games begin.

Heros XI have established their home ground at none other than the Brit Oval where it has some nice new facilities for them to ruine...

The Heros have also announced that they want to establish a solid team so the one they are planning to stick to if everything goes to plan is this line-up for ODI's the Test line-up not done yet...

Australia A vs Hero's XI - Day 1 Lunch!

Its been a good session for the Hero's being put in the feild by the Aussies it was crucial they got wickets and key wickets to, Plym seems to be good and consistant and has been the pick of the bowlers not by much though as Kev has been virtually unplayable swinging some balls away but unfortunate not to take a wicket.

As mentioned Plym put some good fast paced bowling in and took two key wickets his first was a blinder and it was Phill Jaques who thought he had played the perfect Leave but the ball somehow snuck in. He then roughned up Rogers with a ball hitting his hip then the next delivery got him playing late and edged one to Drewska.

Once again he was in the thick of the action this time it was a wicket that shouldnt really have fell bit of a bounus tbh, poor judgement by the batsman thinking they could run to but a good gathering by Plym safley got the run out it was a close decision but reply shows it was definatly Out!

Score seems good maybe if the batsman can knuckle down then it can be challenging but Heros take some wickets then it could be game over soon for the 'A' side...The fat man Cosgrove is in now an dhe can be a hand full literally he does take alot of hand fulls and it shows

Australia A vs Hero's XI, Day 1 - Tea!

Another good session for the Heros with more wickets coming, at the start of this afternoon it looked like Australia A were going to pull the game away with Thornely smacking it about and reaching his 50 is style Pak Cricketer bowled beautifully but couldnt even buy a wicket but the tides turned and he finally got two in style he got the one of the fat fella Cosgrove with a yourker which cleaned him up. Thne the key of Thornely as he was advancing on 61 a bouncer reached some height on him and just brushed his bat for a good catch again by Drewska.

Plym and Kev got into the act later on with 2 wickets in two overs a piece first Plym getting Hadding to nick one to Drewska and then Kev got one to bounce nicley which got Cully trying to fend it off but only went into the hands of Short Leg.......Left Hander that is!
