I haven't come across such a parameter till now...though we can limit the number of overs per innings in a test match...something like the first class matches in NZ...where there's a limitation to the number of overs per innings...
Ok, now is it possible to change the total number overs bowled in a test match. For example in a test match its possible to bowl 450(90*5) overs, now will it possible to change that to something like 400 overs for the whole test match.

Prakash, we should be fiddling around with the value 3200...remember this is a odi so it is 3200(32H - 50 in dec) but in tests and 4 day matches this value is FFFF...i.e. unlimited overs per side...i think we can change this suitably to find out how the match behaves...

ok this is the first time I am using a hex editor so I have no idea what to do...can someone please help me? I want to create saw the border gavaskar trophy...can anyone list step by step how to do so?

I live in Woodbridge...like 10 mins from Islen...I go there every weekend cause I work in the Indian market there

nikhil man, stop posting so many small posts...if u wanna give ur personal details then give them in a single post...it spoils the flow of the main discussion...and now that u have found this thread i am not posting a link in the downloads forum...

Ok...the method to make a tour or tournament

1) Select the tour or tournament from the default C2K4 that matches the schedule u wanna make.
2) then find the offset from which the matches begin.
3) find where all the teams are listed above this offset and change them according to ur schedule.
4) then change the schedule as u want it to be.

all these steps will be explained soon in detail...so don't worry...this is how i go abt it.

can u give me the hex values for stadia
I want to create
ICCCT ENG 2004 as per the actual schedule .

how to make the icc champ trophy with 8 teams as per 2004 fixtures
I started the game opened the knockout thing
saved at the start of the first game
Started to edit the sav file using hex workshop but found that the only one match was editable i.e the first game of the knockout ??
What about the other fixtures how to edit the other fixtures

well first four games should be editable...and with eight teams that is enough...u can have ind-pak, aus-nz, wi-rsa, and eng-sl.

about the venues - u sure u wanna be spoon fed...i like the zest with which u have started the work and i am sure u will discover the venue codes too...if u want them directly from me, I'll send across the file but believe me its one of the most imp things in sav and thats why u'll be elated if u do it urself...

the clue - look at the 3 bytes after the no. of overs byte(3200 or FFFF)...they don't contain only the venues but also the dates...and one way of making out the venues is to start a Frizzel, National League, Aussie season, WC, Test Series - take their fixtures Screen shots and compare that with the hex values...make some changes and look ingame for the effect and so on...also one very important clue is that if u r a programmer, u r better equipped to handle 40-50 stadia codes with some sort of order in place...there is an order in which the codes have been assigned...so think what order could it be????

aditya to make it more clearer, in the example above 42 80 03 are the values that contain the venues and the dates... now do u know what a nibble is? its half byte so 4,2,8,0,0,3 are the nibbles here...now lemme make this clear - 42 as a byte and the zero after 8 control the date (in this case 1st Feb)...the other three in the same order(8_03) control the venue(Lahore I suppose)...now that should help u out...
