Just made a quick Wallpaper in my laptop. I am not impressed with the texture I've made. I'll try to make a better one.

Any comments?

not bad but the background is to simple and there are no effects on the render. Read a few tuts and make sure to make a better background next time. There are to many wavy lines.

Actually, I am still confused about texture making tutorials. Any recommanded tutorial?

Do you know how to use brushes mate?!! If you don't you might want to see this: Complete Photoshop Brush Guide by Nokari Be sure to read the instructions on that page to download the guide.

By textures I suppose you are referring to backgounds, just check the tutorials section on this forum, there are plenty there.
Also there are a few on deviantART, like this one: Fantasy Background tutorial by Night-Fate.
