There is also an all-star team with Warne, Lara & McGrath to mention some :)
If someone does not know what Hong Kong Super Sixies is;

The Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes is a high-profile annual 10-team international cricket tournament held in Hong Kong. This year the event, famed for its frenetic pace and high scoring, will be played from October 27-28 and, for the first time, will feature an All-Star Team. Shane Warne will captain the team, with Brian Lara, Anil Kumble and Virender Sehwag also on the power-packed squad. For the first time in recent memory, tickets were sold out two weeks before the event, lasting less than seven days from when they went on sale.

This series got over.. I watched almost all the matches. Poor All-Stars team.. They played like champions in every match but failed to win in grand finals. Remember, the finals was alone 8 balls per over. McMillan was terrific.. Lara was great too.

Except our Indian team, every team played well.

Yes, that was a suprise for me too. But they lost mainly because,

* McMillan, who was yet to get dismissed in the tournament got out in the very first ball without a run. :rolleyes:

* McGrath was not playing in the finals because of some injury.

These two costed the match. G.Jones's 36(that includes three consecutive sixes) and Lara's 30+ did not help to reach the target. :(

Anyone with scorecards? Cricinfo have strangely not updated...

Surprising indeed seeing that Cricinfo is a part of ESS.
Anyways,the tournament was fun.
Infact,if you are in Hongkong at that time,you can actually walk up to any of the players and ask them whether you can play for the side.
I believe they agree.
Sad,i was in India at that time ;)
