How to duck and leave balls

Hi can anyone when batting what do you press (standard controls) to duck or leave a ball you don't want to play? Thank you I keep getting hit with the ball

lol that 'duck' animation is sometimes the dumbest ever...you'll duck INTO the path of the ball and get pinged on the head sometimes. I usually just stop playing a shot (if its away from the head) and it'll go through to the keeper (sometimes called a wide too)

I've found the the umpire is more likely to give the ball as aggressive (tap their shoulder) when you duck under the ball.

Use L3 key to leave or duck
