Format of the Cup

Each side will play 12 games in the group stage, 2 games against each team.

The top 4 teams proceed to the next round which will follow the IPL format, which is as follows:

Qualifier 1: 1st vs 2nd
Eliminator: 3rd vs 4th
Qualifier 2: Loser of Qualifier 1 vs Winner of Eliminator.
Grand Final: Winner of Qualifier 1 vs Winner of Qualifier 2

Fixtures and Schedule

Each team is responsible to arrange their own games with their opponents.

Deadline for the group games to be completed is

Venues and Pitch Type

Both teams will be playing twice against each other so When Hosting a Home game a team
can select whatver type of pitch they'd want, same goes to the other team while hosting Away matches.

Rules of the Cup

1. Bowled not given glitch

If bowled is not given, then the batting side must leave the next delivery of the same batsman that was bowled. This is the one and only opportunity for the bowling side to reclaim that wicket by bowling straight at the stumps. If the opportunity is missed then that is the way it is. (I would strongly recommend the batting side to try and get run out if the bowler misses the stumps but this is optional)

2. Run out glitch

Bowling side should quit.

3. Below 6m

No rule in place for this so short deliveries with spinners and medium pacers is allowed. Though if the pitch is soft it is not recommended and may be seen as unsporting.

4. Bowling combination

There is no rule in place for the type of bowlers that make up the 20 overs. If someone wishes to use 20 overs of spin that is within their rights. Likewise if someone wishes to use 20 overs of pace that is also perfectly acceptable.

5. Editing Player identity

It is not allowed to change a players name, height, batting hand, bowling hand, bowling type. The only exception to this rule is if cricinfo does not have a bowling style for a certain player than the manager can choose any bowling type they wish for that player.

6. Editing Player Attributes and Skills

This is allowed. The only criteria is the playing XI must not consist of a total combination of more than 17 stars, and each individual category must not exceed 4 stars, with the exception of lower order which must not exceed 2 stars.

7. Fielding restrictions

First 6 overs only 2 fielders allowed outside the inner ring.
Overs 7 to 20 only 4 fielders allowed outside the inner ring.
There must be a minimum of 3 fielders on off side and on side at all times.
