'I don't have a chance to play for India' - Bose

The speed guns are really finicky, by the way. In India RP Singh was apparently bowling at 145 kph regularly when Shoaib was bowling in the mid 150's.

I pay close attention to speed guns. RP Singh bowls short spells in the 140kph areabut in prolonged spells or spells after the first, he is at 135kph. I have never seen him bowl a ball at 145kph but Sreesanth certainly has bowled in that area. However, after the first spell, his pace drops to the 130s kph.

True that the speed guns seem to time higher in India. I think it is something to do with altitude and air thickness or something like that.

Perhaps. I have definitely seen RP Singh keep the ball in the high 140s in a spell or two in the recently concluded Test/ODI series in India. He got all the way up to 149. I remember being surprised and if you dig back through that thread, I'm sure you will find my surprise documented.

No, I believe you.

The technology of speed guns is an interesting one indeed.
