I hav done the impossible, i had changed the menu names of teams. check this out kills and msdhoni.

i dont know why but it appears that every time i had to push u guys to get something done in BLIC 2007. its been 4 months and yet you guys were unable to solve the puzzle of "How to rename teams in the in game menu?". well if thats what stopping da ipl patch then it wont anymore. see the screenshot below, i have renamed Bangladesh to Kolkata Knightriders. i have only renamed this team only for now , as this take hell of a mental work to figure out right code. so kills and MSD if you are willing to start work again in IPL Patch then this patch cud be completed in 24 to 48 hours. if we divide our work.
Myself: i wud rename all the ipl teams correctly for ingame menu,World Cup Menu, Champions Trophy Menu. And wouild correct some blunders made by me in earlie released IPL roster.(like i made Chris gayle right handed, balaji spin bowler and so on)

MSDhoni: you are good with photoshop and you can also get help from your bro, so u should create the badges for teams, yea u wud say its already done but it isnt. u need to create badges which appear next to the teams name in te scorecard and in a ongoing match next to the score. u create these and hand them over to Kills99

Kills99: well u just gotta import every badge and flag correctly. last time when u imported u forgot to import the Delhi daredevils flag in place of Kenya.


after this work is done, i can assume IPL Patch is Completed.

Anyway there are few more things which i am still searching for, you can try to search them also.
rename Champions Trophy to IPL
Changind pads colours for IPL Teams.

Okay, it's really good that you've found out how to change the team names in game menu, but never override yourself. If so, There are many people here who should feel more proud of their works than they did. Please respect the community. There's no point waving at others who didn't do what you've done. This forum has been nearly dead for the time and if it wasn't, the conditions wouldn't have been the same.

Once again, please don't take this as a criticism, just telling you not to get overdriven.. ..

well i think i was too thrilled to keep my emotions down, ya know, its been 4 months since this problem has arrived, since then i didnt get any time to work on it, i thought someone else wud do it, but now todya i got some time and look into the problem , i solved it in 10 minutes. now i have renamed all the teams, i can provide more screenshots but MSDhoni and kills hav to reply first coz they are the ones who along with me started this project and just becoz of this problem they left it or dead. so unsporting.

there is one problem,
game has defined two sets of name for the teams. one set is used in world cup,custom test, t 20, custom odi and other set is used in champions trophy. so i can rename the teams separatly. but when creating the rosters it is not the same case. a team has 18 to 25 player roster. out of this pool of players, separate teams are creaed for Champions trophy,world cup,test match and exhibition odi. so even if i rename a CT team to IPL one then it would not have the players of IPL as That eam can only use players from the roster of one team only. so i am thinking bout renaming World cup to IPL Vs ICC mode. though i havnt figured this out yet.

i am pleased to say that i hav completed renaming of all the teams just now.
so Kills post the corrected logo files ASAP. and try the pad problem,

the kits u created hav inverted logos on arms. another problem is with the placing of logos. well i can help u with that. take a full sleve shirt layout. now hypothetically divide the left arm in 2 parts vertically. now divide the right part of the left arm in two part. the mid section of this part is where u need to place the logo, as the game has a tendency to stretch the right half of kit almost double.
