This is the field editor for IC10 on Xbox 360. It only works with saved games. You'll first need to extract savegame.txt and summary.dat from your save game file on the Xbox by following this guide by zimrahil.

On running the field editor you are first prompted to select the savegame.txt file and then summary.dat file. Make sure that the two files you select were extracted from the same save game file.

You can edit fields by selecting the positions in the combo boxes on the left. The field preview is shown on the right. Each field configuration has certain bowling tactics associated with it. They are listed so that fields can be edited accordingly.

The editor has an import/export feature that lets you export the edited fields so that they can be imported into other save games in the future.

After saving the fields, replace the savegame.txt and summary.dat files in the save game using modio by following the guide mentioned above.

Special thanks to zimrahil for testing the editor and providing me with countless file samples which made this editor possible.

The way to use it is as follows:

1 - use any gamesave and edit the fields as required.
2- Export fields to a text file
3- start a tournament
4- before first ball is bowled in match - save the game
5- using the gamesave from 4 (use Modio) use field editor and import the fields saved in 2
6- then when playing duration of tournament all your matches will have edited fields

For any tournament it's worth doing the above. Even for exhibitions matches, when playing tests, ODI and probably even T20 its worth doing

for 5 or 10 over matches (exhibition), it's probably not worth doing

A tutorial is attached showing you step by step instructions on how to import custom fields into your gamesaves and therefore improve your playing experience, especially when batting :yes

Strongly recommended you use custom fields as it does make a great difference
