ICC 2006 overseas player question

Hey guys,

Came across this "issue" recently and wondered if anyone had any ideas.

I'm playing ICC 2006 and at the start of the new season I specifically looked for an overseas spinner who would be available all year long.

To cut a long story short I found a Sri Lankan SLA who had never played an international but looked the business. Signed him up and after about 4 or 5 games he is now away on "international duty". I'm in early June in the season and Sri Lanka are only due to play in late August so I'd like to know where he has gone. It's rather annoying.

Any ideas?

Ok...Now on a serious note...as far as I know, they usually go away for Internationals ONLY and nothing else.... so just check correctly whether SriLanka have got any Internationals ( includes even World Cup ) in early June...just go to SriLanka team and click on Previous series,Next series and find out...

Even this would make some sense. If the man has to get hitched who can argue with that but c'mon...some kind of message would be nice.

Yeah, I spent about half an hour going through every single country and every single series they've got coming up and Sri Lanka are defo only playing in August. I dunno, I thought maybe he was playing for his home provincial team or something but that seems unlikely.

Just sucks to spend time carefully looking for a player, selecting one who actually performs and then lose him for the season.

The same thing happened to me with S Indasiri while I was playing as Durham.

Hmmm...that's a shame. I'll just have to put up with it then. Damn glitches.

By now, you must have gone forward in your game......Did that overseas player come back or he is still fooling around with his wife...
