Also include a bowling order

Lets see who comes up with the BEST!!!

Batting order: A Strauss, N Compton, E Morgan, O Shah, E Joyce, J Darymple, T Murtagh, D Nash, C Vaas, C Wright, C Silverwood.

Bowling order: Vaas and Silverwood open. Wright first change then Darymple and Murtagh.

This I think is also in the wrong section.

Am playing as Middlesex, i'd go with..

Strauss
Compton
Shah
Joyce
Smith
Nash
Dalrymple
Vaas
Johnson
Silverwood
Kartik

Vaas & Johson opening the bowling, Silverwood first change, Kartik in reasonably early.

In the first season though Strauss, Shah, Joyce seem to get picked for England. So ended up using Godleman as an opener in FC matches and Morgan in the middle order for OD & 20/20 matches. And Murtagh in the lower order as an allrounder.Richardson is a decent backup bowler. Keegan not too bad at ODs, Hutton is good when he is in form. The rest are not so good.

Batsmen

Strauss, Shah, Joyce and Ed Smith are all definite picks, with probably Compton as well.

Godleman, Morgan and Hutton provide good back-up options in case the above are injured/picked for England.

Keepers

Play Scott (better keeper) at first-class level, Nash (better batsman) at one-day level.

Allrounders

Dalrymple is a must, to score runs quickly with the tail, his bowling being a bonus. Though you may start with Murtagh for his better bowling. You could play both in one-dayers, to give you some depth.

Bowlers

Vaas and Karthik should always be picked, but even Silverwood, Richardson and Johnson can cause some serious damage.

One-day XI:

Strauss
Smith (capt.)
Compton
Shah
Joyce
Dalrymple 3rd bowl
Nash (+)
Murtagh 5th bowl
Vaas 1st bowl
Karthik 4th bowl
Silverwood 2nd bowl

First-class XI:

Strauss
Compton
Shah
Joyce
Smith (capt.)
Dalrymple 5th bowl
Scott (+)
Vaas 1st bowl
Karthik 4th bowl
Richardson 3rd bowl
Silverwood 2nd bowl
