ICC Events Schedule to 2019

With the current format you'd think they'll do something like this:

Quarter 1 Adelaide Oval
Quarter 2 Gabba
Quarter 3 AMI Stadium
Quarter 4 Westpac Stadium

Semi 1 SCG
Semi 2 Eden Park

Final MCG

Of course I think it's unlikely that they're going to have quarters in 2015.

No I have a feeling they might have an all in formular like they had back in 1992.
All 10 teams will play each other once with the Top 4 playing in the Semi Finals.

Also I dare say New Zealand would play all their games IN New Zealand.

It was confirmed today that the hosting agreement has been signed for the 2019 World Cup to be held in England and Wales.

I'm not really sure that India needs to host all three main tournaments in the space of two "cycles".

India hosted just a single Champions Trophy last decade, and world cup jointly a couple of years ago!
I just hope that the World Test Championship is jointly hosted, then it'll be pretty much fair. Could have given more events to Aus/NZL IMO.

2015 World Cup Launched and draw released tomorrow.

Just wondering if they might structure it so that Australia and New Zealand are in opposite groups. That way they say have Australia in Group A and play all Group A games in Australia and New Zealand in Group B and play all Group B matches in New Zealand. Cause the understanding was that the ratio of matches between countries was 50:50

Also be interesting to see where the final will be.

Oh nice, will be looking out for it :thumbs

Can't imagine NZ has a big chance of hosting the final. Aussies control the money, have bigger stadiums...

Melbourne can always brag MCG gets twice as many as SCG, so I wonder whether Sydney has lobbied to use the Olympic stadium to try and get the final away from Melbourne. I hope not, I'd like to see it as SCG actually!

Yeah Final at MCG and Semis in Sydney and Auckland (Same as back in 1992)

Ireland are the first non test nation to qualify and Afghanistan are on the verge of being the second.

Good for Australians and New Zealanders but we have to watch on TV or Internet.
