ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024

Harmanpreet Kaur saying that NZ scores 15-20 runs more than expected doesn't add. Especially when the team loses by around 60 runs. Either way, I do not see Kaur continuing as India captain post this tournament.

So, who is playing Australia in the finals? I guess it might be New Zealand. Don't think there's any way that either of the teams from Asia Cup Group A will proceed further. India have dug themselves further into a hole- playing like MSD has cost them. They need to beat Australia which is a tall ask, but with Harmanpreet Kaur out, there is a good chance they can. The NRR is a massive worry though.

From the other side, England seem a tad vulnerable. Today's game vs South Africa will give a good indicator of their form and whether or not they can make the finals.

Indian vice-captain says NRR isn't important. :eyesrolling:

I just find it surprising that lesser funded nations tare doing so much better than Indian women- same old story repeats every time with them.

Schutt clutch AF at the death! Sutherland keeping her cool too in the last over :')

The moment Australia put up 150 , it was done and dusted. Australia should have ended up with more than that given they were 75 odd for 2 at the halfway mark.

India- blame Harmanpreet, captaincy and batting wise both

India ladies can never beat Australia in important match at clutch stage of game
Correction: India ladies can never beat any team in important match at clutch stage of game

Harmanpreet yesterday showed zero game awareness.

Hold them accountable. They get paid well, have good infrastructure, have their WPL, no excuses to keep playing shitty. Kaur has to go next.

Harmanpreet slowed down the game considerably. Also, I dont understand why you would take a single off the 1st delivery on the last over. India needs a miracle, but honestly, the kind of cricket on display doesn't deserve any. Wish our selectors take the PCB stance here.

How does Harmanpreet always end up in this situation where she is the sole hope in a pressure situation but doesn’t get it done?

Didn’t watch the game but unlike in the past she isn’t blameless for this one looking at the scorecard and progression of events. Her captaincy has gone down the drain too especially with those post-game comments.
