Are you editing the in-game patterns or using the template? Editing is very difficult than using the template and doing the design in scratch.

This is known issue with the current_01 model
Even snowycasanova had this issue when he made the 1999-2000 Australia c&b kit.(see in the mods screenshot thread).

I did the same too i have two or three files of the sl kit,i did this kit way back in Aus-Srilanka series.
Modern 01 would be the best option for the Sl kit.
