India vs England 2006 First Test

I think India should find easy to win this test becos of two reasons:
1) Temperature is very hot...So there is big chance of England fielders to struggle if India play for long time!!!!

2) If India bats for till end of third day, Spinners are expected to get some turn in this pitch on 4th and 5th day...

yes i fully agree. i was also thinking about it, but for a bet rate of 6.00 for england, i tried it

i think it will be again more wickets by sree santh. he has a great future in india, im sure !!

really unlucky for me that ive choosen raina instead of clongwood, but i went to this, because: 90 player registered. to enter the top 3 you have to have a spezial team, not a team, everyone will have, so jaffer and cook at this time would be great, if they can keep this up. of course colingwood have to be in the squad

Cook wasn't listed or you would have seen me have him in my team too Jaffer is doing exactly what I wanted. I'm missing Sreesanth but not many have him because everyone would have been trying to get Pathan, Flintoff, Kumble, Singh into their bowling.

I didn't expect Sreesanth playing in the first match, so didn't want to risk a player, who couldn't be playing. It's good that Jaffer is making using of his chance. I always find him better then Gambhir. But he is making runs at a wrong moment for me. I didn't choose Collingwood, since he is allrounder and gets runs against him. He is a better batsmen then bowler.

From the indian batting side I've got Tendulkar and Dhoni left to make some runs. Hopefully Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh will got a lot of wickets in the next innings.

And Dravid better make a long innings.

Collingwood hasn't even bowled yet so no negatives yet. Sreesanth definitely too risky but after this 4 wicket haul he is likely for the rest of the series.
Dravid can get out now, hes done enough and everyone has him
A bit of a collaspe down to Pathan would help me out.

You aren't finished just yet, 2 more test matches plus the rest of this one means there is a lot of points to get. The only problem is if you didn't pick any special player. Then you will need the perfect team to come back from here. For me I took a few punts which not many followed thus I don't need the perfect team to win the comp just these special players to perform.

I find Gambhir a good player, but Jaffer better.

The problem with most of these registrations is that most of them registered earlier, when they didn't know some players would be left out cause of injuries. In this match all my players are playing, so that's a bonus.

Now it seems that Collingwood is the best England batsman, but previously it was Bell and there are plenty of innings left for Bell. Bell was uncertain of a place in the first Test against Pakistan till Vaughan was left out cause of injury. He was the leading runscorer again for England back then. Hopefully he will get back in form.

Dravid out just like I wanted. Didn't really want Hoggard getting the wicket but oh well, Dravid out is the main thing. Now somehow Pathan needs to get into the batting crease while still guiding Jaffers to a big score.

Dam Hoggard is getting too many wickets but soon Pathan will be in

Tendulkar was out cheaply which isn't what I wanted. Siddharth doesn't have him so I wanted to gain from him. Oh well only one more wicket before Pathan comes in.

dhoni too gone and flintoff was the wickt taker, now its pathan and he is in my team too as bonus player.

Well, our captain didnt perform well with the bat but atleast he got wickets!

And taking Hoggard in place of Harmison was good for me!

well everything is changing now, kaif is scoring runs alongwith kumble, how much of you have kaif in the team and kumble too ?

I've got only Kumble in my team, just like a lot of players, but not Kaif. Luckily Harmison got a wicket in the end. I hope he will get the last wicket.

im sure out. as you told i have only one spezial player and he doesnt play. and i dont have hoggard. i will be oon place 70 i think and im sure that one of 90 players will have kaif, kumble, colingwood, hoggard and sree santh.
thats the reason: if you miss one player youre out and i missed a lot :/

i would bet 10000, that dhoni will score more runs than jones.
