Vinay has performed good in IPL. and atleas for me, Nehra is a crap bowler.

Jadeja is a quality bowler then Pathan and can also be disastrous in batting.

NO NEED OF CHAWLA & JADEJA AT LEAST FOR 1ST MATCH, LOOK AT KARTHIK'S FORM, THEN PICK UP ROHIT SHARMA. R VINAY KUMAR HAS TO WAIT. I JUST HATE THAT CRAPPY SLOW JADEJA. I ADMIRE HIS BOWLING BUT HATES HIS BATTING AND RUNNING BETWEEN THE WICKETS.

Anyone can be better than Nehra. He didnt have a great IPL this year.

Jadeja ahead of Pathan is not shocking because Jadeja is a better bowler, a more reliable batsman than Pathan. However Pathan will be picked because if he connects, he can be destructive.

LOL, you underestimate Nehra. He is the only pacer other than Zaheer who can bowl those yorkers at the death. Neither Vinay nor Praveen can.

Pathan is much better batsman than Jadeja, Jadeja can neither stay at crease nor can go after bowling and is equally bad against short ball.

We've really missed Sehwag in this and last year's world cup.

I still believe we would have been in a lot better position if he was around.

You never know Sehwag, he is a one man army.
Think wisely, If sehwag would have been there, India would have got nice opening partnerships. Sehwag can devastate any bowling.Gambhir would be in less pressure and could play freely. And the main thing that India needed in both the editions- 09 and 10 - was good opening partnerships.

Even if that's true (which it is), its never too good to just rely on 1 batsmen. Injuries will happen, with/without IPL (see Champions Trophy), a team that isn't flexible can never be successful in the long run.

A bad performance in IPL just doen't mean he'll perform bad for India too.
Look at Murali Vijay, he performed in IPL but was a big fail for India.
