Indian Faces in Cricket 2005,,do they look real ???

Guys ! i we seen some screen shots in media gallery and i am very
dissapointed with the EA has done with Indian Faces, they look very BAD and does'nt even match the real ones...

Ha Ha!! They are hillarious. None of the cricketers look themselves. They might say they had licensing issues, but if they can use their names, cant they use their faces?? Look at Brett Lee, Look at Harmission, Shaun Pollock etc etc. They have excellent resemblance.

EA only had licences for the Australian, England, New Zealnd and South African teams. So India, Pakistand etc. aren't licence so they had to do something weird. Like put a mustache on Tendulker..

the Tendulker one is a classic!!!! EA I am sure when they made this game they said how about we give the best batsman player in the world a mustache so people who buy this game can work out what the hell is going on

I'm serious EA have done this on purpose its not a mistake done on purpose!!

but the great people here can make faces!! i would too if I knew how too

surely EA can hire someone to watch the god dam cricket games with a pen and paper and write down details of players numbers and stuff

so they have a list saying Tendulkar have mustache??? yes no tick no!

Well I remember Oliver Kahn had sued EA for using a face resembling him in FIFA 2002. I guess they dint want Sachin to do the same, and hence the mustache.

Its not a big deal... They can make the faces exactly like players and put a disclaimer in fine print saying "Any resemblance to anyone alive or dead is purely coincidental". People get away with murder by twisting the law to their benefit. This issue is nothing. EA just doesn't care abour cricket gamers

Making faces is not the problem, importing them is...I should be able to use just BigGUI to import the new faces, but i haven't got the game yet (should be coming within the next week, hopefully sooner) so I can't test them out in game.


It's also a pain to explore the .gob for faces because i believe that they are in .big files packaged with a bmp file and a .o file.


Anyway, here is the face i have made of sachin. NOTE: it's dark and blocky i think because of the oedit software, I haven't tried it in game yet so I don't know how it looks

It looks better in the one in game though, perhaps you could make a better one? f0bstyle has explained why its really dark - because of the .o edit software which is used to edit the face shape and put the face to the shape. He hasnt tried it in the game yet.

I'm talking about the mustache one. I ain't talking about the FOBStyle that he made. I'm talking about the original one in cricket 2005.
