Pakistan allrounder Yasir Arafat has been ruled out of the ICC World Twenty20 in the West Indies later this month due to a calf injury, the captain Shahid Afridi has confirmed. Arafat, the world's most successful Twenty20 bowler with 90 wickets, was anyway in doubt when the training camp began in Lahore last week.

"Yasir Arafat is out because of the calf injury," Afridi told the News. "He told us that he was not fit, after which we had to take a decision."

Didn't know he was so successful, bit of a blow for Pakistan but with Aamer, Gul and Asif they still have a good attack.

Yes we still have a good Bowling attack but I think that they should replace Arafat with Imran Nazir as he is one of the most destructive batsman in T20.

Won't be a big blow tbh, since Pakistan already have decent allrounders, like Afridi and Razzaq in the team.

Sucks for Gul, this is the only format he is halfway decent at/

Gul's ouster is a huge blow to our chances :doh. Muhammad Irfan is being rushed into International Cricket and that is never a good thing to do to a youngster. We all know how great Muhammad Sami is. :facepalm
