@wasteyouryouth thanx a lot mate....will give it a try on a copy of your old used bat.... How to get a darker used logo....
I mean is there any simple way other than using the Blobset method ( I haven't used it anytime) to search a used logo/texture online & then I would import onto the bats
What is the format(extension) of these logo files in order to search online??
It might be possible to create a logo and essentially use it as an overlay to rough up and darken the bat, that's what I did with the Used Bat I shared on the academy. But that method is dependent on having the right sizes to fit and being able to get good looking svg logos created.
To be honest, as you're part of the PC Master Race, using the blobset creator is probaby the easiest way. The threads explaining how to use it are helpful and once you've had a couple of goes at it you will find it straightforward and a lot quicker than creating things via the academy.
The textures I shared edit the default bat models (the 'model 4' one means that all bats using that model will have that bat look). I'm working on another that edits model 3 incorporating a photo of a 50-60 year old bat of my Granddad's I have. That has a lot of lovely cracks and grooves in the wood. You can use those or look at creating your own. I've also created a file with the ball marks that I can easily randomise the positions and can be added to them.
This is a pretty big update. International teams rosters and line ups changed. PLUS these are reskilled players for each team - using the Dean Johnes Method. So they should all be fairly consistent across the board.
In addition to these international sides I have shared some 'A' sides. These are just for a few extra players. If someone really feels that Steve Smith or David Warner deserves to have their ban ended they can swap them out.
To make it easier to download licensed players I've created separate Australia and England teams that can be downloaded. I have also added some kits to these for those who can't enjoy the delights of @Spoobir or my own kit mods. They aren't as complex but they look alright (new England ODI, T20 and the Aus kits with the Alinta Energy sponsorship). Of course these kits can not be added to the licensed sides but if you really want to use then you have two new sides that you can play with that have the kits.
I have tweaked a lot of the stadiums and given that I am sharing from a different account you might (probably will) need to delete your existing ones if you have a lot and want the replacements. This might mess up some domestic ground assignments, I apologise for that. Below I've done a list of the grounds shared with each teams so you can pick and choose and delete if you want.
IF YOU DON'T WANT THE RESKILLED PLAYERS MAKE SURE WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD YOU SELECT THE OPTION TO NOT OVERWRITE THE SKILLS.
If you do download them and play some matches with them, I'd love any feedback. Particularly on how well AI bowls and bats. I've also tried to get fielding skills so that players would field in more realistic positions, it's not easy to do because of the quirks of the automatic placement system. It doesn't always work out due to field settings the AI uses. Any feedback on this is welcome (e.g. so and so usually fields here) and I can try and make adjustments in the future. hello, i really want to know what the dean johnes method is? and i personally feel like players are rated way too low. considering steve smith is 94 rated, i feel virat kholi should atleast be a 92. and also i feel KG rabada and steyn should also be atleast a 92 considering jimmy anderson's and starcs default ratings. what i basically mean is that shouldn't we rate players based on how the default teams have been rated? im loving the kits and rosters in the new update. with that said absolutely love your work, ur an a legend in the community and we all thank you for ur incredible work. keep doing what ur doing in ashes cricket 19 and further games too, im sure the entire community would love what. thanks again for what u do
What I would say is to either use all these teams, or none of them. Otherwise you’re going to run into some issues due to the difference in ratings between default players and the reskilled ones.
I have a pretty good theory on this that I worked on during the old beta tesing stage before release that seemed to work. I will test it out on some of your teams and see if it works.
My current SA team in tests, especially, should be pretty accurate up to 3 slips, who should field where. I even managed too figure out the right order such as Amla 1, Faf 2, and Elgar 3. After a player goes with more slips, thats when it started messing up for me.

It's like trying to crack Enigma. Which position gets picked first, in which part of the field and why some positions count as other parts of the field (I think midwicket is counted as second in outfield positions or something like that).
I worked out a series of skill sets for positions. I settled on trying to maybe one player as a specialist slip, one specialist 'close' fielder, mid on and mid off are ranked first for infield so I'll stick a bowler or sometimes captain there, which feels realistic. Generally have other players as ones that are more likely to be in the outfield, outfield or infield depending on how many fielders and then those who will fill out the slip cordon. But it only works until you change the 11 or the format of the game.
There must be a better way they can do it next time.
Only reskilled the players I shared yesterday. Just about all my others shares would be leaving default skills. Would like to work through some more but just waiting to see how much feedback, positive or negative there is.

Like @Rumple43 says there is a thread that explains the method to my madness.
In short: it is a working out a total number of skill points for batting and bowling using real life stats and opinion (@Sinister One helped me with that initially - there was a call out for volunteers). I ignore the Overall/Bat/Bwl ratings you get in the player search screen because it is inconsistent.
It's based on experience playing the game and using the licensed players as a starting point. Of those I've shared; Kohli is the highest rated batsman followed by Root, Williamson and Smith with about 28 points between Kohli and Smith. Smith is lower because his List Average is not as good as the others.
At some point I could share a list of the players and the ratings.
@wasteyouryouth Something interesting I may have noticed. Might only be me though.
I played 2 different test sessions last night Aus vs Sa. First one was with your DJMETHOD teams, the second. I was my SA (non DJ) and the AI was yours.
Gonna test some more but what I seem to be noticing is gameplay for me seems better when AI is DJ and Player is "default".
Understand what I am saying?
The second one, the AI were 102/4 at lunch. 1 Bowled, 1 LBW, 1 Caught keeper and one caught gully. Will post the scorecard when I get home.

Yeah I think I get you. In my opinion the impact of skills is not well balanced in the game unfortunately. I remember playing a match with players with 1 skill point for all batting skills and the only difficulty I encountered was the lack of strength. The most recent patch though has been pretty good for me, but that might just be how I've got things set up and how I play. And I've primarily been playing ODI.
I think it may be that how good a bowler is effects the AI batting. Even though the bat and bowl rating (they are consistent for on-disk non-licensed players so I'm happy to compare) for Kohli is 81 for batting and Steyn 82 for bowling, so I'd say equally good, it might be the bowlers need to be a little higher. As for AI bowling it's consistently poor which again might be helped by boosting their skills.
