Well, if you use a great search engine known as google, you can find hundreds of logical articles proving the fabrication of those rumours and myths. For example, for the "duck's-quack-not-echoing" theory, you can learn about an experiment that was carried out to prove its fabrication, and the history behind this myth here.

Marilyn Monroe with 6 toes on her left foot?? Another rumour. You can even find some closeup images of her left foot showing that she had normal humanlike feet right here.

The words that rhyme lists are taken from the websites of poets. I think they'd know... There is a lot more to rhyming than simple one word sounding exactly like another. Not all rhymes are of the "pimple/dimple" ilk.
