BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

In IPL 2020 League, for the first time ever,
You will not just select your batting line up, but also the bowling line up. Yes! You heard it right, you can choose on your own whom should you let bowl. You can plan your own bowling strategy.

New Lineup Format:

Note: A bowler can bowl a maximum of 4 overs. Each bowling spell consists of 2 overs. You can extend it to 4 overs by giving consecutive spells of 2 overs to a bowler, like I did for Coulter-Nile and Bumrah. Also, a bowler cannot bowl consecutive overs. If Bumrah bowls the 16th over, he cannot bowl the 17th, hence he has to be the 2nd bowler in Overs 17 to 20, so that he bowls the 18th and 20th.

THE DRAFT

Eligible Players: Only the players who are the part of IPL 2020 squads and/or are in the unsold list of IPL 2020 Auction List are allowed to take part in the draft. Check the lists below:

Unsold Players List (Scroll down and you will find a tab with unsold players written)​

• Players like Suresh Raina, Lasith Malinga etc who have pulled out from Dream11 IPL 2020 recently, will be allowed to play.
• Players like Mitchell Starc, etc who had pulled out from VIVO IPL 2020 before the auctions, will not be allowed to play.
• Players like Yuvraj Singh, Ross Taylor etc who weren't in the VIVO IPL 2020 Auction List, will not be allowed to play

DRAFT RULES​

• All the rounds except Round 01, Round 06 and Round 15 are ordered drafts.
• Managers must pick only from the eligible players in the draft, check the lists above.
• Managers can change, drop or edit a pick any number of times till the round ends.
• If a round is unfinished, then the managers can start picking for the next round 24 hours after the first pick of the previous round.
• Read the squad and lineup rules carefully. Also read the first post of this thread thoroughly for better understanding.

Squad Rules:

• Each franchise should have a minimum of 18 players in the squad.
• Each franchise can have a maximum of 20 players in the squad.
• Each franchise can have a maximum of 7 overseas players in the squad.
• Each franchise must have atleast 2 / wicket keepers in the squad.
• Each franchise must have atleast 3 uncapped players in the squad. (Can be overseas uncapped too)

Lineup Rules:

• Every playing 11 can have a maximum of 4 overseas in the line up.
• Every playing 11 should have a designated / wicket keeper in the line up.
• Every playing 11 should have minimum of 1 uncapped player in the line up.
• Every playing 11 should have minimum of 5 bowlers in the line up.
• Every player in your squad must play atleast once in the tournament.
