First back up your audio files which are there in root folder .
After that download v2 sounds & extract on desktop or some where . Just replace the old audio files with the edited sounds. If you don't like or want old files then just play them using VLC player & replace the old files again

I don't know whats wrong it should work .Again you replace your backup files * & try to reinstall again .Check sound settings in the game

Backed up my audio files.

I can't extract the file you provided in download, so made it a zipped folder then extracted that... Deleted the existing audio files.

Fingers crossed it works.
