Ipod problem

I own a ipod shuffle i am now in another state since there is no ITunes here.The battery is discharged earlier it used to show a red light when there was less power now there is no light.Is my ipod dead

P.S-Ask me why i didnt download Itunes when i have internet because the speed here is 56kbps.:

Be smart and put the iTunes setup file in your ipod next time so you can install it where ever you go.
