IRC Channel

I dont belive you have one and I cant see it suggested anywhere elese. So I would therfore like to suggest that you start an IRC chat channel. They are easy to set up and run and would give a great place for people to meet and chat as it is hard to do so on forums.

Also it would be a good place for current modders to get instant feedback on there stuff also it would be easier for them to give lessons to people (if they are willing to do so) as they can run through things the same time as you do it and solve problems for them quicker.

You get total control over your room so people that are causeing trouble can get banned and such. I just feel this would be a good thing for the community and allow everyone to get to know each other better.

I have always relied on IRC as the best form of communication for groups. You can also talk one 2 one it, and also play games over it with certain versions.

Once again I applogise if this has been done . is being or has been suggested before.

Baecause all the people here will not like IRC
Instead use MSN or yahoo chat which have support for Voice ,Audibles,sharing photos,cam etc. :readit

For some reason he is a Yahoo Fanboy. I just went on it and it took 30 seconds just to load the channel list and thats on broadband.

On irc you set it up to auto join planet crickets channel. Once that has been done u double click on the IRC icon and in under 5 seconds the program has started u are in the channel and you are chatting how is that bad.

Like the post before said if you dont like dont use it.

There are plenty of new members since then, might be more interest- you're welcome to set one up if you want to, there's just no guarantee it'll succeed
