Is a patch like this possible?

I recently bought Cricket 2005, and like it. However, one major problem I have is that (out of a habit from Cricket 2004) I start a run pretty much every time I hit the ball. In Cricket 2004, this gave me a head start on a run, but I could easily get back to my crease if there wasn't one.

However, in Cricket 2005, there is not enough time to get back after starting a run, as the batsmen do not run their bats in and I have to wait for the feet to cross the crease. Is it possible to make a patch that will make the batsman run his bat in, or fool the game into thinking that he has?

Press the 'S' key on the way back from a run to slide your bat into the crease.

I didnt know you could press S !!!

you can also press 'w' to dive into the crease

Yes, W dives, S slides the bat and Q makes the batter do a flip into the crease

'A' makes him throw the bat at the keeper/bowler instead of bothering to get in the crease.
