Is Cricket itself overrated?

is it the most overrated sport? (mainly after football I suppose).

I think it's quite overdone in Subcontinent, that means there was a time when there was a whole cricket crazed up, stuff. But then came this Bandwagon type of thing, that, "owh, no, cricket, is just boring". So mainly people lost interest, many of them.

In England after 2005, obviously, cricket was like, yeah. So, I think i'd have got many people to cricket after that Ashes series. But i suppose they calm down abit, after 2007, cleaning up.

Australia I'd say is overrated with all of their sports, no matter what they play:cool:.

Internationally, I think, cricket is really underrated in countries that don't play it, or arent good at it, unlike football.

Overrated? most of the people from most countries don't even know what Cricket is and how it is played, so I would say its underrated and as far as Sub Continent is concerned, not only Cricket but Football is also played a lot. So these 2 are our main sports and surely we are not overdoing it

I think it is underated because i have heard many of people say "it's boring" because they've only saw TEST MATCH they have never saw t20 stuff so it is underated i think

Cricket is a great game. Far better than Baseball, and should be played more by other countries. Very underrated in my opinion, but with the rise of 20/Twenty Cricket, I feel that could jeopardise the future of Cricket.

I think 20/Twenty Cricket, should only be played at domestic level, to bring the crowds back to domestic Cricket.
