iTunes being a pain in the arse

Got a new iphone 5. Tried to sync it. Said I had to download the latest version of itunes. Did that. Tried to sync it. Still saying I have to download the latest version.

What is going on here????!!!!

Did you restart your computer after installing the latest version?

Itunes always bugs me up and that is a big reason i stay away from Apple products.

There may be a possibility that iTunes updated again after you've downloaded the first update.. Try downloading again, and if everything else fails, uninstall, download a fresh copy from the apple site (not using the updater), and install itunes fresh.

Now it's telling me I can't download apps because I'm in the US app store and I need to switch to the Australian one.

2 questions

1. How do I get back into the Australian app store?
2. How the hell did I get into the US app store in the first place?

Go to account settings and change your address to your australian address.. It would probably ask you which app store you want to select.

So I went into the Telstra shop today asked them for help. Did exactly what they told me to do. Still won't work. I've got an iphone here buy I can't download apps. I'm supposed to go to work tomorrow night and sit there all night while the bloke I look after plays xbox. What am I gonna do if I can't use my phone?
