just got this game a few days ago...

and i'm having problems with the cpu's batsmen. They are wayyyy too good. They don't get beat by any thing. I have yet to bowl out a single one of the batsmen. I only get catches close to the boundaries when they mis-hit their 6 shots. That is another problem, the 6. They hit wayyyyy too many sixes. More sixes than singles. I feel helpless. Its like bowling is useless. they know what kind of pace/swing I am bowling even before the ball leaves my hand. Blah, this game is boring. It also doesn't help that the bowlers' deliveries are extremely slow and sluggish, as if they're moving in quicksand, which makes playing test cricket longer than its real life counterpart. AARGH!!

I guess I'll start looking at the patches now. Any recommendations???

to be fair to all patchmakers, look them all up like BA suggests above..my personal favourite is cgvp7+bosstest.ros

however, have a good read, there are many patches and files that will make your game so much more realistic, and playable (while still challenging)

welcome aboard and enjoy..do not give up, the patchmakers here have done brilliant things and you will get such enjoyment from the game like you wouldnt believe!
