The main concern for RCB was the bowling department which we assumed that Starc will do it this time. But he parted his way from the team before auction which gave a added advantage of 5 crs. and the only thing the management wanted to do in the auction was to get Tymal Mills at any cost. He has variation, he has experience, he bowls fantastically inn the death overs and he is the T20 specialist.KKR did sensible bidding throughout ..........
And they did not even put their hands up to bid for the overrated Stokes ..
And I think they didn't even wanted to buy Tymal Mills , just wanted to up the price so that the other bidders leak away their money
They did the same thing to Yuvraj Singh in 2014 against RCB ...............
As they had released Varun Aaron, we needed a local seamer and we've got Aniket Chaudhary at a cheaper price. There is a strong backup for Mills in Adam Milne. So this time, the auction was quite sensible from RCB's part and from fans point of view. And yes, we needed to get Irfan at his base price as no other teams were interested but management has listed only 4 players within their budget and they got all four of them.
