That is the main difference, yes, but what the LMS has lost is that now it is just a league and finals, like the GPL. The way it used to be, with a second group stage, was what I thought used to be the main selling point, and how the tournament got its name.

Ah very very true. Had it for the first four seasons, but yeah, the format has involved league and finals since then. Though, Season 8 was slightly different to the ones during season 5-9. Thanks again for the feedback, much appreciated.
