The other we had the Ind- NZ warm-up being played at the Lord's.
Towards the end of the match,I felt that the players had great difficulty in sighting the ball.
One of the Kiwi fielders missed a catch because of the same reason.

Should'nt the ECB do something about this ?

Yes no option but to add more lights,for the 1st time its D/N matches in Eng,the grounds are looking great...
I don't know what you mean, you don't mean this is the first time we have had day/night cricket do you? If you do you are totally wrong!

There are only four of them and they're not terribly tall towers, but Lord's is a very square ground so I wouldn't expect it to have deep dark pockets like you get at some minor footy grounds in Australia.

Considering the planning issues they have had in getting them installed, I guess it's a small mercy that they light anything at all when turned on. I find it a bit bemusing really. It's not like it's a tranquil village in the countryside, it's inner London. There's already noise and lights at night.
