For one person to be experiencing speed problems (no one else has reported anything have they?) your specs look alright. Have you got something that's power hungry? Maybe your CD tray is a bit of a slow reader or maybe you have something not wanted eating your power.

no I think the game is not using the full memory available to it. what the point of CD rom speed on the trial download of the game? my page file before running the game and after running the game remain same i-e 250MB.

no one else had had this problem and were all downloading the same demo, conclusion, its your computer and not the game.
