I've tried pressing all the buttons when I've bowled a ball but nothing happens?

The dive would happen automatically. I would presume. The appeal button would only be available if the ball hit the pads so not point in trying to press it after each ball. Probably a time zone to press it aswell.

no the dive doesn't happen by itself u must press triangle button to dive on the ps2 version of the game.i don't know about appealing for lbw.
