Manual/auto fielding

Which one do you use? I like auto coz I cannot be bothered to run after each ball. However, there are some problems with auto fielding, such as fielders never attempting to hit a wicket, but instead always pass the ball to wicketkeeper or bowler.

I tried the manual fielding once and managed to run someone out. But find it impossible to intercept a flying ball (such as a ball which is landing on the edge of the field.

I always use auto fielding, too much for me really with the bowling and batting as well.

I did a little on 2004 though and managed to bowl sides out for single figures through run outs.

I use manuel fielding in 20/20's but not in test matches or tours etc

Yeah I tried to use Manual after the Fielding AI p****d me off once, but I found it impossible to use. Whether I'm just an idiot fielder or not is debatable but I have never used it again.

It is hard manuel fielding but you will get used to it after a couple of goes

I recon manual fielding would be much easier if we could use a wider camera. Otherwise, it's really hard to know where the ball will go.

Can you not just get easy run outs like you used to in 2004 then?

Not really..you can get run outs but not easily
