if this match will be raining and then its all over for punjab they need to win this match at any cost

Come On Punjab, 199 in 20 overs is possible,
They are certainly not going to chase this down in 13.5 overs , So no possibility of KKR not qualifying . I want Mumbai to get eliminated

CSK, RCB, KKR & MI in the play-offs now, as Gilly is in the pavillion.

What has happened to RR and DC in their last match??? Convincingly winning against strong sides...

Hat Trick to Amit Mishra, excellent job by him!:thumbs

Yep that was one of the besp spells I have ever seen in T20s. :clap:clap:clap
Congrats Amit for hat-trick. :cheers

4-1-9-4 (16 dot balls)

MI makes it to the semis, thanks to DC. KXIP's juggernaut is stopped here by none other than DC. :p

Oh damn! What an anticlimax? After a good build up for the battle for the last spot in the playoffs, Mishra comes in and derailes Punjab. MI must feel so relieved now that they dont have to face a shootout situation against KKR tomorrow.

Teams like RR, DC, etc play more freely when they are faced with less pressure (after being eliminated). Maybe they have to find more players who can absorb pressure and play well under it. Gilly and Marsh are such guys but the rest of the team is so ordinary that Punjab couldnt make it.

Well let's look at KXI journey..
1 loss - 3 consecutive wins - 5 consecutive loss - 4 consecutive wins - 1 loss

So they started their journey by losing by high margin and ended in same way.

Nice stats...

I must say its a remarkable achievement for KXIP to be at no. 5 as this team was looking similar like Delhi Daredevils, at the start of the tournament. But not only top 3 gave them wins, Dinesh Karthik, Piyush Chawla, Ryan Harris and Praveen Kumar helped them to stay alive in the competition. :clap:clap:clap

Paul Vatathy was outstanding and now I am looking forward for his Ranji season when he will play for Mumbai. :thumbs

From Australian perspective, Shaun Marsh and Ryan Harris should get regular spots in ODI squad. :)

Preity needs to find better people to pick players for her team in the future auctions. Their selection process in the auction was just downright pathetic, and they continue not being able to make it past the league stage this year too
