wondering what are the renders?

Up in here, Renders are cuts taken out of a background in a pic, leaving the subject formally.

Like i want to do a work, and i want specifically just the player in a pic, I cut out the background off that pic, and leave the player in it. So what i get is just the fresh pic of player without a background.
