bowling all rounder
30 bat, 30 bowl
Pure Bowler
20 bat, 20 bowl

those are your stock standard averages that everyone has

40 bowl? Do they ever get bowled?
Also I think we should try an RPIC career style average system, where you can pick your averages out of different things.
For example,
Let's say I want to be bowled occasionally, I can have a bowling average of 45, but then my batting decreases or something like that. I haven't though it through yet.

And as for pure bowlers, it's 15 each I believe, you changed it because batsman were winning too many battles and causing a lot of draws.

Isn't 20 a little high, I'm sure I have them as 15, 20 is not exactly a common average for pure bowlers. Although I suppose it's not bad, but it souns more like a bowling all-rounder like Vettori or someone.

wf....ben, I doubt you'll make it to opener, we already (unfortunately) have a Simon Katich type man there, but consider yourself Phil Jaques.

yeah but otherwise they get consistently crap scores, and it makes the team scores lower, this adds a good balance as you rarely see unrealistic scores

I've played a few games with the sort of settings you use. Usually you'll see the top 3 or 4 batsman make all of the runs while 5 & 6 chip in with a few aswell & either the team chasing completely crumbles or they do the exact same thing to what the team batting first did & win with a few overs to spare.

Do you watch the games when you simulate them rickyp or do you minimize the screen?
