Meh, I could care less if Melbourne has a better cricket ground. I've been to the MCG like 50000000 times anyway. I lived in Melbourne my whole life & I've been in Sydney for 2 years. The cricket ability & talent up here is so much better that I couldn't believe it.
Only thing Melbourne has over Sydney is they have a way better form of football. AFL is like the best sport ever invented, I'm baffled how anyone can like any form of Rugby over AFL. It's just to bad Hawthorn can't find the form of the 1980s where they were the best team of all time!
I also used to live around a swarm of Collingwood supporters. It's always good when Hawthorn give them a flogging.

Well I'm impressed that you didn't say Rugby, you must be one of the people in NSW with an IQ above 30. Now all you have to learn to get to 60 is that AFL is the greatest sport every created, ever, and it is Australia's national sport, not just Melbourne but AUSTRALIA. Anyone who doesn't think so is from New South Wales... OOOOHHHHH

Oh yeah, well my uncle and aunt live across the road from Andrew Demetriou, so there!

And ben, Hawthorn give lots of floggings to anyone these days don't they. And the 80s Hawthorn team was good, but not the greatest ever. Try one of the 3 or 4 consecutive flag teams.

Nah Hawthorn were in the most grand finals around the 70s & 80s and we won about half of them. Better then winning 3 flags and then drowning to the bottom of the ladder.

I don't even know who the Sharks are because I don't care. If you think NRL or Soccer are better sports than AFL then you are insane. And Simbazz, you go for the Broncos AND NSW? Like the only sport we play that we didn't just play because of England and then got better than them at it anyway.

And Simbazz, if you want to like a good sport then you should discover AFL. Search for some clips on Youtube, you should see how we jump on top of each other's shoulders to catch the ball.

In League, you run 5 metres and get a bunch of half naked men jump and tackle you.
How on earth can you enjoy watching that?
It's not like it stops either. It just keeps going on and go and on and on until the pathetic excuse for a sport ends. :boxing

You throw a man to the ground as hard as you can, and then you help him get up and move back 5 metres. If you knock someone out in AFL, it is a free kick, name an otherwise incident.

Ok, obviously I don't have the knowledge of AFL to make a fair decision on the game. I am sorry if I have offended you.



P.S: I will always enjoy league and soccer more than AFL
